Primary project source

Technical and game-progress descriptions on this site are based on the upstream README at commit f3a550b797de04b6380394e52532c03902bb03c4, reviewed on 15 October 2026. The port script, local server and browser shell were also inspected for implementation context. The repository changes frequently; the pinned revision makes this guide’s claims auditable.

When citing frame rates, we retain the title, resolution, browser and reported hardware context. We have not built a game from a disc, played through either title or independently reproduced the maintainer’s performance figures. The browser checker tests API availability only.

Real media and attribution

The DualShock 2 photograph is by Evan-Amos, via Wikimedia Commons. The photographer released the work into the public domain. It was resized for the site, the social image and favicon family. The controller is a photographed physical device; no generated image is used.

The Gran Turismo 4 still is extracted from the upstream author’s real demonstration. The original video remains linked at its source. The game and trademarks retain their respective owners’ rights; an open-source runtime license does not relicense game content.

Actual template foundation

The interface adapts the game-focused Unigine Games Website template from Start Building Web. Its container, header/navigation, clipped button, title and section styles are used in the shipped site. This is an actual code adoption, with a separate blue-console visual treatment and new content/tools. Template demo artwork and remote icon scripts were not imported.

Modification notice, Apache license and original MIT notice are retained. The upstream PS2 project’s MIT notice accompanies the adapted technical examples.

Updates and corrections

A source review date describes the material checked, not an automated live feed. New compatibility claims require a primary report before they are added. Corrections should identify the affected page and a verifiable source. For a project implementation bug, use the upstream issue tracker; this independent guide does not operate that project’s support service.
